Delivery Driver Location
If you register or operate as a delivery driver, GrubDeli may collect your location while you are actively completing deliveries. This is used to:
- Navigate to pickup and delivery locations.
- Provide customers with real-time delivery tracking.
- Verify delivery progress and completion.
- Improve delivery accuracy and customer experience.
Background Location for Drivers
If background location permission is enabled by a delivery driver, the App may continue receiving location updates while a delivery is in progress, even when the App is not actively open. This allows customers to receive continuous delivery tracking and helps ensure accurate delivery status updates.
Background location is not collected for customers.
How We Use Location Information
We use location information to:
- Display nearby vendors and services.
- Calculate delivery routes, distances, and fees.
- Estimate delivery times.
- Enable live order tracking.
- Support driver routing and delivery completion.
- Improve our Services and prevent inaccurate deliveries.
Sharing Location Information
We may share limited location information with:
- Vendors, so they can process and prepare orders.
- Delivery drivers assigned to an order.
- Customers receiving deliveries, so they can track their assigned driver.
- Trusted service providers that help us operate the platform.
We do not sell your location information to advertisers or third parties.
Location Controls
You may grant, deny, or revoke location permissions at any time through your device settings. If location access is disabled, some App features, including nearby vendor discovery, delivery tracking, and delivery routing, may not work correctly.

- Order Information: Items ordered, vendor details, order price, payment method, and delivery details.
- Usage Data: App interactions, browsing activity, search activity, session logs, and feature usage.

- Connect customers with vendors and delivery drivers.
